Like the title says I need a good air/fuel programmer.Something that will monitor and adjust air/fuel.I just went to the dyno and my air/fuel is a little off, there is some hp that can be gained. Now i was looking at the Apexi SAFC programmer and I think the Xcalibrator 2 is one(i think)But I like the Apexi a lot but not sure if it is capable for the SVT.Do you guys know of anyother air/fuel programmer available for an SVT.

I am running the Apexi SAFC on my SVT. When I got my car dyno tuned, I had minimal mods. Intake, resonator removed, and lightning MAF. I didn't get a big horsepower increas (1-2) but driveability improved tremendously. It pulls real hard all the way through 5th gear now. If you or anyone else is interested in it let me know. I'm going to be going the Xcal route. Thanks.

Well the guys that dynoed my car said there is about 15-20 hp that can be gained with a good tune and air/fuel ratio.Do you like the Apexi?why are you going to the Xcal 2?What do you mean by it really smoothed up daily driving?

Sorry for all the ?'s

Mark gained 10 whp with his X-cal from Brenspeed.com and it was dead on where he wanted it to be.

I would believe those numbers to be possible but its gonna take more than adjusting the a/f. I am going the Xcal route because I'm doing something that requires the adjustability. It smoothed it out because SVT's, in my experience, SVTs run rich. When you lean out the top end, you get more punch and less bogging. I'll let some of the experts jump in and try to explain this better.

well, I'd suggest the Xcal simply because it's not limited to air/fuel. There is more you can adjust. And with the PRP software...you can adjust everything up to the car's bra size...

only place you can buy a guage pod is from Lotek at www.gaugepods.com.

Personally, Autometer is the only brand of gauges I would go with.
