I noticed when I first got my 98 svt that it was a little different to drive than all the other cars i've owned. I eventually learned to be a little easier when letting my foot off of the clutch, but it still seems to jerk a bit after shifting. Is this normal for these cars? Would adjusting my clutch help with this at all?

It is a hydraulicly actuated clutch. I'm pretty sure there is little/no adjustment aside from bleeding it.

Thanx for the quick response. Would bleeding it help any? What is the purpose of bleeding the clutch? What sympotoms would this help with?

how many miles are on the clutch/car? Sometimes its a driver related error, My tour has 130K miles on the stock clutch, the TOB is starting to die, and I know that if im not extremely careful on shifting then I get some bucking going into some gears.

Its got 111k miles on the stock clutch as far as I know. The guy I bought it from said that it was going to need a new clutch at some point. I didn't see that, it seems to have lots of clutch left, and seems to only happen going from 1st to 2nd. Not sure if it has anything to do with the throttle hang or the torque of the car. I try to be extra carefull coming off the clutch during this shift, and it still seems a little jerky.

I think I know what you are talking about and it is drivers error. If you let off the clutch just wrong you will get that jerking back and forth. You need to just let off the clutch smoother.
