ok i search and i think i kno whor for the 1518
but my question is what could cause P0401 on a brand new engine everthing cleaned. could it have anything to do with my headers and y pipe installed and how do i fix it.

Did you reinstall all of the EGR plumbing, hardware, and wiring, ie, EGR valve, tube, sample hoses, DPFE sensor, EVR solenoid, vacuum lines, electrical lines, etc?

Did your header have the correct EGR tube connection fitting?

Have you performed the EGR vacuum vacuum test?
