This is only my second day owning my fully loaded 00' SVTC, and I love it. However, I have a few questions in regards to mantainence. What works best to get those damn 5 spokes shinning? I've tried alot of **** and can't seem to get that brake dust / dirt off in some areas. Also is there a place you can order SVT floor mats or something, w/ the emblem, my car didn't come with. And last, but certainly not least can some of you give me some cosmetic modification ideas that i can do to my svtc, since I can't do engine mods w/ out voiding the warranty. Thanks for your time guys, Eric

I really haven't had problems getting the dust off with the mitt I wash the car with and some soapy water.I don't know what to tell you there. I believe you can order the floor mats through the dealership if you want them right away or you could wait for Bill Jenkins to get setup in Vegas and order them through him. Have you removed the door dings yet? If not there is one mod. You can find out how to do it in the how-to section of this board IIRC. You can also get the inside of your headlights painted to match the color of your car. At the same time you can get rid of that amber reflector in the headlight. There's a bunch more, you might want to look in the aesthetic forum for more info .

try some degreaser, like simple green...spray it on, let it sit for 10 min. or so, then wipe it off with a sponge and spray them off.

Meguiar's Clear Coat Body Scrub. $4.99 at the local auto parts store, guarantee you it'll get most of the baked on dust off. Worked absolute wonders on my old wheels.

Also use a non-abrasive wheel scrubbing brush to clean your wheels.

Go to MNB Floormats in the Group Buy section. Bill says he and/or Sentry have a few of the Tan sets left. First come, first serve (and probably LAST serve, as well).
