actually just a toy. I figure you know what, I work hard and all and its time to treat myself to something nice.

I got a 1998 Corvette, 5.7 V8, six speed manual. Thing only has 17,000 on it.

This isnt my car, it is the same one though, same color and all, just found this on Ebay. I dont have a working digital camera to post my actual photos.

Thing drives like you wouldnt believe, handles so great. I love the way the clutch feels, the gas you just press on it and it just takes off, brakes are very nice and firm.

No, my Cavalier is my get to work, and get stuff from the store car. This car is for weekends and nice sunny days.

By the way just so you know my Cavalier has been a great car since day one.

I figured that your cavalier was your "daily driver" and that the 'Vette was your toy. I'm happy for you man, looks like you did good, finding a low mileage Corvette.

Are you going to keep it stock or do you have any plans in store for it?

Stop through Georgia on your way to Florida. Might be able to hook you with some people. Just wait until you get the mod fever. In two years my uncle went from a bone-stock '03 Z06 to a 404ci 480+rwhp monster. I guess I'm going to have to do a review on that car later.

Oh yea, don't forget to have someone check all of the torque settings on the suspension pieces as they like to fall out of spec. Make sure your leaf springs aren't splintering, seems to be common on '97-98s. Also, the batteries love to leak and spill acid all over the computer which leaves with a big bill. If you have any questions ask away. Or you could register at you favrite 'Vette board.
