Im in the middle of changing the clutch in my SVT. I have the fidanza flywheel and i need to know the torque specs that it requires for the pressure plate.

Tell me you're not doing it w/o a manual?!!!!! Did you replace the TOB? What TOB did you use? What sealer did you use? Did you remove the rubber o-ring that comes on the Spec TOB?

Yes im using a manuel and also knowledge. I have replaced the tob and what not. I know the manuel has the torque specs but its for the steel flywheel and since i have fidanza its aluminum so its a softer metal. sorry for any spelling errors im kinda running back and forth.

PS make sure you are using hardnened washers with the bolts, on ANY ALuminum flywheel, otherwise you will not get the correct torque setting (80Nm) on the flywheel bolts and then could end up with a flywheel that comes loose!

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

Or 60 ft lbs. for those with a ft. lb. wrench.

Would you recommend locktite as well? I used it on my SVT Flywheel and definitely planned on washers + locktite on the Fidanza.

80 Nm = 59.00488 Ft/lb
60 Ft/lb = 81.3492 Nm
