The car doesn't run noticably slow, although it's almost 10 years old, so it doesn't run like new.

A couple years ago I had a low power problem, especially in warmer weather, but I cleaned out the intake and it seems fine now.

I am going to try to make my own MIL Eliminators. I found directions, including a list of parts to buy at Radio Shack. Sounds easy, and I can save some $ and get them installed sooner.

Thanks for the input.

Where did you get the directions from? That would be awesome since I've had a PO171/174 for a year now, and still have not found the problem short of replacing everything. Hopefully that would work! Good luck on yours!

Your code combination is due to a vacuum leak.

MIL eliminators are for the P0420/P0430 codes.

GOOGLE "make your own MIL eliminators"

Actually, that's what I meant. I got the codes mixed up, but thanks!
