okay so i purchased a lower and upper intake manifold from a 1998.5 contour SVT and already have the adapted fuel rail from the 3.0L now the only question i have is, would there be any benefical factor in just removing the Secondary Butterflies off the lower intake, and porting out near the heads for a much larger diameter, much like the current oval ported heads on the 2001 + but i own a 98 split port. was reviewing the porting of ovals, but was thinking about porting the whole upper, lower and heads all to match at a much larger diameter than before.

anyone have any input on the situation?

i know i will need to get the COmputer reprogrammed after but am currently installing Zex kit at this time as well. might as well wait and get Xcal 2 programmed after.

Also i am likely going to add on SVT Cams but am wondering are the SVT heads a real benificial or not on a 98 taurus?

if so i understand the process, i just dont understand how much HP of a difference it will make or any?
