If some dont remember, my SCT chip would make the car stall when installed on the car. Car would fire up then stall shortly after. When chip removed things were fine.
I read somewhere that some soldering was necessary to the PCM, i obviously missed this in my constant irresponsibility of installing things on my car. I wonder that if i did this soldering, things would be ok? i searched the boards and there are no real install instructions, and i have misplaced the ones i got from ADC.......can anyone help a brother out? i did remove the copper material on the port and put the chip on right, i did manage to do that right
maybe my chip will work now

when i dropped the tank and installed my walbro, i guess i didnt put the fill tube back in the right way when i put the tank back up. i went to fill up and i just put nice expensive 93 back onto the ground. jacked the car up and i thought i got the tube back in all the way, i mean i took the jack and jacked the back corner of the tank until it would go any higher, it still leaks fuel out of the top of the tank. if anyone can get me a picture of the tube completely in the tank, that would help out a lot.
and im sorry to bother everyone again with my problems, but thanks for the help

also, and its just a thought....
after about 15 min of driving, smoke comes from the turbo bearing housing. i dont know what it is, but its faint and doesnt smell very strong. and it only happens after i stop moving and ive been driving for a while. the bearings are still fine, i let the car cool and i took off my inlet pipe and they still spin smooth as day one. and plenty of oil is circulating through the housing.
i have no idea what it is but could it be my crappy dino oil not taking the heat well? or perhaps the coolant inside the housing just heating up and coming out? i have no clue
thanks

Stazi used to have some pics up showing what needed to be soldered.
You should still be able to find them in... maybe in the archives.

I told you guys this before- Cougar's access ports in the rear floorboards are too small to fit the pump housing through! You'd have to cut the floor, then find some boondoggle to re-seal the thing. No thanks. The tank drop is easy enough.
And I responded to your post on NECO, Instigator- You pushed the fill-neck seal into the tank- No seal = lots of fuel on the ground!

If you wanted to hack up your car, sure. Just personal preference... I'll drop the tank.
