Wanted to do this for a while but no time. Was very easy and the reverse lights overpower the red easily. They are on with parking lights, and flash opposite with the signal lights on.

Matt

PS- I did some searching already but any input on some brighter reverse lights, 5% tint on the bad makes it dark.

Looks good. I made my reverse lights blue with a pair of those colored rubber bulb covers from Autozone.

Got a few emails on a how to. This is what i did. Wired up some 194 bulbs, red. At the top of the reverse lights there is a slot they can fit into. Put them in there and run your wires to the wire connector for the back lights. I guesse you could use leds, but the bulbs were cheapers and seamed to give a better array of the light. I have also painted my lights. So i dont know what they would look like without painted lights. Few ways to wire them. Plus the reverse lights still work, cant even see the red.

you should take some pictures of the inside of the trunk where you have them wired up and how they are mounted.

Positive from the bulb to the orange wire, negative from the bulb to the blue wire, this will make them come on with parking lights and flash with signal lights. Can wire them up with just signals or just parking lights too. Pictures are hard to see but there is a space near the top of the revese light housing where you can place the red bulb and tape it in place (thats what i did).
I would like to see some done without painted lights, not sure how it will turn out.
Peace
Matt
