So it was crappy out today. I am running summer tires on ice so of course I was spinning all over the place. I get to campus and park in the parking garage and before I turn off the care I noticed that my highbeam indicator is blinking. Not really fast, but at a medium pace. Any idea what could have caused this?
I drove it home about 2 hours later and everything was normal.

think it might mean that a high beam is out?

Were your high beam lights also coming on when the indicator flashed?
Is your car equipped with DRL (Daytime Running Lamps)?

DRL, yes.
Highbeams on, no.

It means that one of your highbeam bulbs has burnt out. Happened to me a couple of months ago. Replace and you're good to go.

I've had bulbs go out before and not had any indicators. But it sure would be easy to check and see if one of your high beams is out!

There is a reason I asked about the presence of DRL. If you don't have this feature, you'll never see this situation..
Both the owner's manual and the service documentation are completely silent about this indication.
