Well here is the problem. When I start my car in the morning for the first time each day the car will idle high then it will come down as it warms up. Which is normal for every car, right? Well as I drive the car throughout the day everytime I go to start it the idle will go to about 2800rpm's then back down them up again a few more times. Sometime it will even shut off. It will do it even after I have been driving for 30 minutes, then turn it off and then start it five minutes later. Can anyone give me any ideas before I take my car to the dealer?

Is your Check Engine Light on? You could have a vacuum leak. Check for hissing sound or broken hose in the engine bay.

Yes the check engine light was on. But when I installed my stereo I had to disconnect the battery and the light has not come on since. The car still does it but no check engine light.
