The ppc 6700 is $599 - $150 sprint instant rebate = $449.

I have the plastic one where it snaps in. If you get a 6700, get a holster or something right away, the pouch it comes w/ is a joke. And while you are ordering from Seidio, get one of the headphone adapters, so you can use decent headphones for listening to mp3s.

Honestly, for me, the keyboard was the selling feature for this phone. I really like it, sending text messages w/ it is great. Pretty much anything I don't like about the phone can be directly attributed to Windows Mobile, and not the phone itself.

My Brother Has a Treo...Cool phone I just hate the key pad. I have a Samsung Sph-I500, its a discontinued phone its a flip phone with full PDA functions as well a touch screen, and it still maintains more phone than PDA styling. The only complaint I have is that I can recieve but not send text messages for some reason. Its a fantastic phone. It was replaced with the SPH-I600 which looks identical except it has the caller ID on the outside of the phone and its doesn't have the touch screen. I think you can find the I500 on ebay for about $150 with all the add ons. The I600 I don't know..I think its like $350+ from sprint..Either way you get the sleekness of a flip phone(screen protection) and the normalness of it not being to bulky..all while keeping PDA functions. Great choices...looke em up

Rara-
This is the case I'm pondering...

The only drawback I can see is that I'd have to remove the case from my belt, then open it to use the pda, vs just pulling it out of the holster.

It's no quickdraw...any thoughts from a first hand user of the 6700?

Thx

That Aluminum case is nice, except it appears that it would be a nuisance in daily use. You end up using the touchscreen a lot to be honest. There is no fast way to look up contacts without touching the screen. Also, it seems that case would make it a hassle to get to the keyboard as well.

Honestly, I am very happy w/ the plain holster form seidio, it protects the face of the phone very well, holds it securely, and it is still easily accessible.
