i plan on puting on a turbo (along with lsd and clutch) i was going to just have the trans rebuilt but i was wondering if there is a trans built for more power i could install.
With 48,000 miles on it my trans is rougher then when i first got it, so i dont think it would hold up with the turbo. anyone else have problems with getting into gear sometimes (even when warm) but sometimes it goes in smooth. the shifter also has play in it ( moves alittle in all directions) when in neutral and in gear.
i put in mobil trans fluid w/ ford additive.

Weak points on pre 2000 (Mondeo) transmissions- Diff gears/selector forks/syncro hubs/casing changed at 2000+ re oil capacity/shifter tower etc.At the very least you should consider Quaife or Torsen..the diff in the V6 MTX75 will not handle much above stock,this is no BS,we have repaired gear cases that have grenaded stoc diffs on cars with mild to low power on many instances...rembember if you have to have a new trans its over 12-1400 if you have to buy it yourself plus fitting...think on when you drop that clutch...or have a broom and a zip-loc bag to sweep up the bits!!!

what is the bulldox box???
i plan on putting in quife diff and was looking at stage 1+ clutch from UR. Terry, you sell and install quife?
