whats super cheap? 1and1 (my host) has $5 a month hosting. You can go on ebay and find hosting packages for $10 a year from what I have heard.

I've heard good things of lunarpages.
I'm currently using HostGator and so far I have no complaints.
I bought my domain name through 1and1 cause they were the cheapest I could find. But I don't like their hosting plans.

I've been using RCTHOST.COM for 3 or 4 years now. I forget what I pay but its well under 5 a month [plus I have unlimited storage space.... mmmmm... unlimited].
they've treated me very well and I would strongly recommend them.

Me either...
I looked around, and from the reccomendation from a friend, I went with Godaddy.
I have 10GB storage, like 500GB/month transfer or something, domain, Choice between Server2003 or Linux box, and it was just under $10/month.
I paid for 3 years for $342. Which is one of the reasons why I didn't go with a small company!

I use godaddy but after this year I think I am going to switch. Even though I have the "deluxe" account they still don't let you make any sub accounts or anything. Pretty lame IMO, my friend uses dreamhost and got a better deal than I did, FWIW.

I was with dreamhost and I am very unsatisfied with them. That's why I am looking for a different host. Frequent downtimes, poor customer support, very slow speeds.
