Sure do! Take a look at my tachometer install here and you should be able to find it. Hope that helps!

Kai, i put a tach on my car, but i hooked the sensor wire to the stupid "distributor" cus i kept looking in the Haynes manual for the damn wire from the ECU but they never had it right.. could that be why my car was reading 500-600 rpm's lower than actual as opposed to putting it on the fuse wire?

*fixed* 1998.5 Contour SE Zetec
No Cat, SVT Dual Exhaust, 2 N1 Mufflers, IAT , Diablo Chip, Iceman Intake, Polished TB, "new tranny"

Yeah, probably so. Since the Contour is distributorless, tachs aren't really read the revs unless there is a wire coming from the computer. Luckily there is. You probably want to change it. smile

You might also explorethis arrangement. The Venom system uses it to monitor RPMs - tap into the brown wire here:

I don't have my instructions with me(and I'm colorblind), can any one else using Venom confirm wire color for Mr. Scott........

Pin 48 out of the ECU harness (White wire/Black stripe) is the wire you can tap for your Tach/Shift-light and ofcourse, A'PEXi S-AFC.

This is the wire I tap for reading the rpm's on the A'PEXi. It is dead-on accurate.

To tap into the tach wire, open your hood. Locate the center of the firewall. There should be a wiring harness connected to a rectangular piece of plastic(a.k.a. ignition control module). Attach the wire from your shift lite/ tach to the white wire with a black tracer(white w/ black stripe). Thats IT!!!
