i am in the market for a car. used to have a C-svt but sold it. dumbest thing i ever did. neways, what newer cars are out there that are comparable in price and performance. leaning towards a turbo and/or awd. give me some ideas guys. wrx and neon srt-4 look tasty. only reason i dont get another C-svt is cause i dont want a 8-9 thousand loan on a car thats 6-8 yrs old.

8-9k for a CSVT? You can get them for 4-6k now, if not less.

If you were happy with the CSVT, you could look into mods on a 5 spd. V6 Mazda.
You wanted more? I have mixed feelings about the SRT4 and WRXs are all over the place. Mitsu Evo? Eclipse? Mod a Mini-S up to 300 hp? Screw it, find a low miles SVT Cobra.

8-9k for one with under or around 50k miles. i dont want high miles. a Mazda 6 i think is too pricey.

there are CSVT's out there with less mileage for less money... you just have to find them. mine was $6500 and had 32k miles, but that was a special case...

Sweet!! Great deal!!
So your price range is $6-$9 thousand if I am correct? Or is that what you want to finance after you put a down payment?

well it depends on the car and the year. banks dont like to loan out lots of money on a older car. i found a smokin deal on a STI. if it is legit, it's mine. i love C-svt's. would love to find a deal like dude above with the 32K mile svt.

well the only reason that i say mine was a special case was because it is R-Titled. but since i'm not concerned with the resale value (i'm keeping this car ) it was a perfect deal. plus they gave us more cash for our trade in than what it was really worth.
