EDITED TO REMOVE NUMBER MISTAKES

I have the 5503 with the stock SVT mufflers at the tips, as well as a SHO y. Sounds good, but can be a little on the loud side. I dont recomend the shorter 15" edelbrock with the stock end mufflers. Itll be too loud. I noticed power gains from 2500 RPM immediately after the install. I did the reducer before the muffler...

It says the 5505 is 3" in/out. Too big?

My fault, mistook the 5505 for the 5501, which is the 15" long 2.25" muffler. Chris, wouldn't the 15" muffler be a little on the loud side, even with the 5503's on the end? Perhaps the 5506?

The turbo will help with the muffling. Or it will add to the "I don't care how loud it is, this is FAST" factor. smile

Turbo's almost act as mufflers until really high RPM's. A lot of the turbo Dodge guys run without mufflers.

So let me get this straight, if I buy a 5501 it would replace the resonator, then I would get 2 5503's for the rear?

Why couldn't I just get away with putting one 5501 in the system (center in / center out)?

Derek2000 does. Search for a post I started about the Edlebrock. Sounds very good, and that is just one muffler, total.

I don't have any other sound clips, and just so you know, the sound clips you're hearing are not w/ an Edelbrock muffler, but I'm guessing it'd sound similar.
