Will the the transmission bolt pattern from an 1989 Ford Probe 2.0 fit the bolt pattern of a 1996 Probe 2.0? In other words are they interchangable?

there is probably a 0.00001% chance considering the cars are made minimum of 6 years apart and on different platforms.

The very early models of the ATX Probes used the 4EAT-GF. The CD4E did not come into the picture until 1994. And since I am not as familiar with the 4EAT-GF as I am the CD4E, I will say that it you "might" have some problems. If not physically, you might electrically.

P.S. Even though this is not a Probe site, the info above is what this site is all about, so your post doesn't bother me. Maybe it would have been better placed in the tranny forums, but oh well.
