I have a 1997 [GL I think], my RPM meter says V6 and i know my engine is a Ztec, how can i be sure it is a V6 and in the article i was reading it mentioned a Duratec V6 will these part fit my motor?

Assuming you are not pulling my leg...

Count the number of plug wires going to the coil

6 = duratec
4 = zetec

Plus the duratec v6 has a big ass aluminum intake that takes alot of space under the hood.

Usually the engine says what it is right on it.
