If you are going to start from your empty system you should get a new drier, vacuum the system and then recharge.

Reusing an old accumulator from a junkyard is not wise. Buy a new one.

I bought one last night only 35 bucks (new of course)

i got the in-line filter for it to (2.99)

i have a old vacuum pump and ill get the r134a @ walmart only 9.99 vs. 12.99)

How many cans will it take does anyone know from past experiences?

oh i also bought the ford spring lock set (9.99)

is there any last warnings parts etc.. i need to know?

I hope to get this running ASAP.. how long do you guys think it will take?

( i haven't looked at it much) how will it come out? the bottom? III oh boy if this be the case i may be in trouble.. i have a small hand jack and a floor jack (forgot how tall) i ran into the same problem when i tried to change the head gasket

There should be a sticker under the hood with the R134a quantity. Be very careful that you don't overfill it.
