OP Nayan Newbie N Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 6	I am new to this site and just want to introduce myself and my purpose to be part of contour.org I reside in Jacksonville, IL about 30 miles west of Springfield, IL. I am a software engineer by profession, but have a deep interest in mechanics. I took a few classes on automotive tech at the local community college and so not bad at all in wrenching. My wife use to own a 1996 Ford Contour (GL, V-6, Auto), which she bought brand new. One of my friend got into financial trouble and had to help him out by donating the contour. After about a year, he got back on his feets and returned the contour. Well, another friend needed help and the coutour did its service again. Now, he is in a position to return the car. The car now has 150,000 miles. It was properly maintained when it was with us(not sure how my friends treated). But I can see the car is getting tired. Anyway, I want to give some life back to the car and drive it around myself.
