Holy Kanoly! My local powdercoat shop did my valve covers, upper intake manifold, and throttle body for $200.

I've done the best I can as far as the prices. I found a reliable source of powdercoating and thought I would share.
Living in Northern Virginia, the prices are a little bit higher than elsewhere anyway.
I have pictures to send, but don't know how to load on this forum. I can send pictures to anyone by request.

my buddy suggested this to me and it didnt seem THAT expensive either. Much less than having my 15's done professionally and they'll definitely fit in my oven
How reasonable is it to take a powdercoating task on by yourself?

K, the pictures have been sent to Pete for hosting. Here is the explanation that goes along with the pictures.
The first two pictures are of the valve covers on the car. I've had some oil leak issues, so unfortunately they didn't stay pristine and I didn't have time to clean them up.
The last two pictures show one that American stripping did and then one that Powdercoatman did. You can see the huge difference.

from what i have heard it s fairly simple. the key is the part prep.
Jess just called me to tell me she saw an electric oven someone put out for the trash this morning. and its right down the street from my house. i will have to check it out after work.
oh yeah...DO NOT bake the parts in an oven you use to cook food!
