When I go out on cold mornings the AT shifter will not work until I keep my hand over it to warm it up. Little button will not go in when I press it. Anybody had this situation? Is something going wrong?
The lock-out bar and the plunger like device dry out. I lubed mine with tri-flow after spraying a little bit of electronic part cleaner on the moving parts. Just be nice to shifter cover because many of the parts are brittle.
