I need some advice. How much would someone expect to pay for a 00 SVT 2.5L engine block with 1000 miles, and the crosshatch patern is still visable? With only the crackshalf, oil pump, and no pistons.

Probably not much at all. You've pretty much got an SE block in other words, as the SVT pistons are primarily what make it an SVT block, with the higher CR. You've pretty much got a paper weight on your hands that is not a high commodity.

Oh,ok. But since its that new and without pistons. Would it be good forced induction setup? Because different pistons and rods are needed.

I just don't see many people taking interest in it. Most people will just use their current block, or go 3L. Not a lot of people will go through the hassle of picking up a 2.5L block, or having it shipped, just to have to put new internals in it. I may be wrong, but that's my opinion.

Hot-tank it clean, install head bolts, put a lucite top on it, and make it a coffee table. I've thought about doing that with an old block.

About as much as it would cost to ship it.
A "complete" low mileage used engine (2.5L or 3L) is in the $500-700 range. That includes all the sensors, manifolds, TB, injectors, harness, etc, etc...
