Interior quality (a lot better then old ones)

Feel - felt really big
brakes felt OK
Size - big on outside small on inside
Refinement
Drove a GTO today also... besides the nice seats it was crappy. Exhaust note was a bit over the top (annoying) The car could seat 4 comfortably. Drives more like the last generation mustang.
I was sad that I was so unimpressed with both cars. I was hoping to like one enough to buy one.
Best combo for me... Combine the 350Zs driving feel, shifter feel, handling and package with a sweet sounding V8 (or G35 coupe). The Nissan just feels so much tighter. Imagine a 350z with the 4.5 engine in it... full exhaust system..wow.

I'll take your word for it.
I too drove the Mustang GT before owning the Tour. Went with my dad (he was interested in it). I didn't like it. It didn't feel like a "sports car". It felt more like a Cadillac DTS than a sports car.
Driven a vette. NICE!
Is my car for sale? PM me if you're in South FL.

I should have explained better. The 350Z did little for me as a driver's/sports car. The Mazda RX-8 is my sports car of choice, and more power would eliminate its one deficit.

I think the new Mustang GT's would probably "feel" or handle better if they came to the dealerships with better tires. From what I've read, the stock tires are very wimpy all-seasons. Maybe take that into consideration.

I think you'll have to move into C6 territory to get all that.

That's because a Mustang isn't a sports car. It's a muscle car. Two completely different styles of car.

Yea i got the 19" rims that the dealership offers, over at tom holzer ford, they were 1500 for the full set, but thats a pretty good price because i spent 1500 on my 18's for my tour and ill tell you it definitly feels better then the stock tires thats for sure. but i really like the car for the price of 25k. compared to the 35k sometimes of a gto and i got mine almost fully loaded.
