It's the way she switches so completely from full-throated to nasal in mid-phrasing. It's not bad, but it's really distinctive.

I knew she was a pop act, which is why I wasn't interested in learning more. If she hadn't been on SNL, I wouldn't have known how hot she was

just saw her new video "hips don't lie". OMG!!! I just don't think it gets better then her. Good song too....has wycliff. And yes, my fiance has come to terms with my obsession with her....cause she has johnny depp and the rock (why that one I don't know)

I first heard of Shakira through Spanish class, back in high school (and no, it wasn't THAT long ago, lol!)... but yes, I agree that she is really, really hot... Laundry Service was her first English album, out a couple of years ago, and she just came out with her new one, Oral Fixation (I think!). And to reiterate what was previously said, that body, her hips... to die for!! I wish I was that hott

Hips don't lie... and La Totura... the only music videos that I ever need to watch again.
Holy crap those are hot.
Do yourself a favor and track down the video for La Tortura... grease has never looked that sexy.
