Went to the junk yard today and grabbed a set of heated mirrors from a couple 95-96 Mystiques. $20 for both mirrors, harness, and plugs. The guy was pissed when I put down just the mirrors on the counter. They usually only set a complete mirror for $50-60 each. (Pictures for reference)

Check and see if your car has a 5 wires run to the mirror... if you do, it's plug and play.
Reminds me... there is a pre98 in the junkyard here... might have to get me some mirrors!

Any Contique that did not come with heated mirrors still has the same 5 pin plug, but only 3 wires actually run into it.
Which is why I grabbed the wiring for inside the mirror and the wires feeding into it. I still have to run wires from the defrost switch into the doors.

Only 95-96 LX and SE Contours had heated mirrors. I believe all Mystiques in 95-96 had them because I took 1 mirror from a LS and one from a GS.
To test, just turn on the rear window defrost then touch the mirror. If the glass gets hot, you have heated mirrors.

My 96 GL w/Zetec ATX had heated mirrors.
Had whatever package/options give power windows and locks along with 15" aluminum rims.
Maybe they came with one of those options...

I always thought it was a GL Sport... but they had "Sport" on the back, right?
It seemed to have stiffer suspension than my friend's 95GL with no options other than ATX and power locks... or maybe it was just the difference between the 14" and 15" wheels.
