Also, the muffler is extremely baffled, therefore it doesn't flow very well. If you're planning on going to a custom exhaust, i would recommend 2.25 inch piping with a high flow resonator and a less baffled performance muffler. Anyone know what the muffler in is in inches? If you do replace your cat back with something bigger, the cat exit pipe needs replacing to take full advantage of the improved flow. The cat exit is 2 inch. I had a custom pipe made up in 2.25 with the stock flange. I removed it when I added a custom Y pipe. If you're interested it's available at a very reasonable price. PM me or visit our website.
