This I know, I meant to clarify "AWD" as "Mazda's AWD". Of course the MS3 would get the same system found in the MS6 if it ever were to get it.

If variable FWD-biased AWD is "worthless" and a 60:40 weight distribution is "nose-heavy", then the Mitsubishi EVO must be a total piece of [censored] since its' AWD system functions essentially the same way and it's actually more "nose-heavy" (by a very small amount) than the MS6 is.

The big hope for the new miata was that it would win the C Stock AutoX class that currently being dominated by the 99 Sport edition miata. In Stock class you can not install coilovers or springs to fix the handling problems that are there with the new miata. I know of one top level driver who is working on prepping one for C Stock but he has been having issues getting it to work the way he wants it to because of how softly it is sprung.

I was disapointed with the way it drove compaired to my 1990 miata.

If I had to choose I'd pick the MZ3 over the Calibre... That dodge just doesn't look right.

Lemme say.... MMMMMMMMMM, TASTEY!

It should be under 25k... it can't come THAT close to the MS6. That will be just under a fully loaded new GTi, too.... hopefully, I'll have to make this choice out of college.

A miata. I will not hesitate to say that I haven't driven one, but I have spoken with several very experienced individuals who have noticed a lack of body control.

As far as the 4wd system on the evo goes, it actually works. That ends the comparison right there. I think it is no mystery that they dropped the ball when opportunity was present. It is true though, there are still many manufacturers that are making the same mistake. Audi is just now learning.

I see. I suppose I agree then. I will not hestitate to admit that I have not driven any previous Miata, so I'm like the reverse of you! There was definitely more body roll than I'd like and if suspension mods are out of the queston, then I can see this as a definitely a letdown.
