Heres the deal, i have no fogs, interior lights, gauge illumination, but the radio works. I have replaced fuses 31, 34, and 5 with no luck. What in the hell fuse is it?

What other electricals work (don't work)? Headlamps, rearlamps, hazard lights?
For the 1996, the relays to check would be Relays 12 Courtesy light and 22 Fog lamp. Also check Fuses 5 Fog, 31 Instrument Panel and 34 Courtesy. Not sure about the 1998.5. Check your Owners' Manual.

my hi and low beams work, my horn works and so does the radio. My remote doesnt and nore do any interior lights. It does ding when i leave the key in the door.

What about exterior rear lamps and hazard lights? I am trying to determine if you have the headlamp switch issue or if it is some other issue. Note, that the foglights are usually not affected by the headlamp switch issue. And have you checked the relays yet?

Hazards. blinkers, do work. I have no idea where the relay for interior light is.

Do the external rear lights come on when when you turn on the headlights?
R12 is in the Power Distribution Box next to the battery.

yes they, i see the relay that you are talking about now. How should I go about replacing it. Is it just like a fuse?
What if relay D2 blew, the one for reverse voltage protecion, since this happened when i was hooking up a voltmeter. I do not think i crossed wire but it would make sense that something like that happened.

no my f'ing radio doesnt work! I am at wits end with this eletrical bull [censored]! SO where can I pick up this relay at?
