Almost forgot...Sugarloaf is where I learned to ski 18 years ago. I have only been back once. It is a great mountain!

sugarloaf is very fun. a great hill with some very nice trails. good luck in the race!

we just came back from the Balsams last weekend and the skiing was amazing. probably the best i've experienced. the hill in Dixville is small, but it's so far north that we basically had the place to ourselves. snow was packed and plentiful. but is was COLD (-20 at the summit)!

baaahhhh, thats nothing I was at Cannon with my pops last year and it was -20 at the base, and -50 at the summit we would do two or three runs and then go in for some coffee/cocoa...

We would normally do at least one trip to sugarloaf every year, like a weekend or something, never really had a bad experience, and we actually got dumped on with snow like three years ago(that was prob. the best weekend there).

i should note...it was -20 only on Friday. Saturday was up to 0 and Sunday was a "balmy" 6 degrees.

it really wasn't that bad (this is coming from someone who HATES the cold). 2-3 runs and in for a beer.

went dog sledding too!

well, I'm here. Got here from MI in about 12 hours. I have to say the border into main on 27 is freaking hilarious! The weather is gorgeous! I am in a condo right next to the main lodge and chairlifts right out my door. If anyone is gonna be around send me a PM.

I'd meet up with you to hang out, but uh, I've seen pics of you in your snowboarding suit, and it's skeery.
j/k man

Good luck this week!

LOL. Yeah, that was a big mistake to let steeda see that...and then it is posted everywhere...actually my new GS suit is NOT purple and is the shiz! Went out today and there are/were over 40 hard boot snowboard racers...this is gonna be a crazy week. I rode with some hardbooter instructors and basically got some free lessons.

nice!

I will, however, give you alcohol if you wear the suit one night during SZ parking lot festivities.
bonus alky if you do some grass-boarding on the hotel property.
