This is a long shot but a couple days ago I had a small transmission fluid leak under the car. Today I was driving. Something fell of the under front and the tranny fluid poured out. Just had my 99 Contour towed home. Any ideas.

More than likely the servo cover and seal. The parts are cheap from FORD. I did mine myself as it was leaking.
Do a search in this Forum - Lots of good info.

95 Contour GL. Bought new. BAT Sway Bars/Pioneer CD/Koni Rear Struts/Mobil Fluids. Looking for 15" alloy rims-PM me. 180,500km's so far.

Yes, it was the servo cover and seal. The shop I took it to were a bunch of intellectuals. It took them 2 weeks to do it for some reason. They charged me 150 bux with my own new parts. The thing still has a leak. Would some JB Weld or some other sealer be recommended ?
