Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums General Troubleshooting Heater blower and wipers stopped working!

This is for a buddy of mine. He has a '93 Escort, and the wipers (front and rear), along with the heater blower stopped working at the same time. i checked all fuses, they are fine. I checked to see if there was power going to the culprit fuses, and there isn't. Anybody have any ideas of what this could be? Any ideas are appreciated!

Had a simular problem with my Contour. It was a fuse bolted (under a plactic cover)on the engine, back by the fire wall.

The only bolted in fuse is the main mega fuse. Everything else are relays. I talked to him some more, and he said it was an intermittant problem before (turning controls on and off a few times to get it to work), but that would indicate a switch. No it isn't even getting power. I'm totally dumbfounded (it's not the first time). Thanks for the tip, any more would be appreciated!
