OK....have a set of 19# injectors to put on my 98 tour se what all do I need to do to accomplish the mission....what is it I need to adjust?


98 tour SE
Resonatorless
Gutted cats
some speakers
A little bobbin head cat watchin every1 pass
and ford mud flaps(darn fishin trips keep me muddy)
added all terrain tires(i like to pretend im rally racing, whne not really racing)

You may need to adjust your pulse width with an Apexi or MAF calibrator from ProFlow. Hope you have more mods than just gutted cats and resonator removed, otherwise more fuel is worthless and actually hurts performance.

what brad says is true, but it is far from the best way to accomplish the swap. A custom chip that will tell the PCM what size injectors you have (or even better re-calibrating the PCM itself, though very few could do this) is the best way.
Though brad is also right in thaat you will be wasting your time unless your current injectors are maxed out.

OK....so if I add the 19# inj. a stock mustang MAF and Injen Intake what is it I need to adjust...the pulse width? what are we talking about....Which pulse width do I go with from a mustang MAF I have a slight selection I may choose from over at a mustang shop....Just we are confused about which I may need....also I am planning to do all at 1 time is place on a 23/4 exhaust or even 3 if need for a single exhaust with sho pipe...so what is all I need?

...or you could always change the MAF with one calibrated for 19lb injectors...
