Guys I have been through hell with this car! It started doing the "chuga" when I would gas it on the highway and then it finally went "kaput". Hubby changed the fuel pump and the filter. Car ran but still did a little "chuga" like it wasn't getting enough fuel. The car got repoed and now we have the car back and it doesn't start at all. The battery has been jumped and nothing. Should I still get the codes read????????

Yes, scan for CEL codes and post. Does it crank but does not start or does it not crank at all? When you turn ignition to "on", does the CEL light up (to determine if power is going to the PCM-brain)? In addition, check if Fuse 4 Ignition (or 6 in some years) is missing from the Power Distribution Box next to the battery.
