OP rsaxour New CEG\'er R Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 38	Guys I have been through hell with this car! It started doing the "chuga" when I would gas it on the highway and then it finally went "kaput". Hubby changed the fuel pump and the filter. Car ran but still did a little "chuga" like it wasn't getting enough fuel. The car got repoed and now we have the car back and it doesn't start at all. The battery has been jumped and nothing. Should I still get the codes read????????

When you turn ignition to "on", does the CEL light up (to determine if power is going to the PCM-brain)? In addition, check if Fuse 4 Ignition (or 6 in some years) is missing from the Power Distribution Box next to the battery. "Always do the cheap and easy ones first." 1996 V6 ATX 96K miles
