zetec 4 cyl at first i had a cylinder 2 misffire..... this are all the things ive done to the car in less than 48 hrs.... new spark plugs new wires new ignition coil new fuel filter new fuel pump and strainer and iac with new seal and new maf.... and now it does even want to turn on i checked the fuel lines coming to the injectors and they are receiving fuel all the way up to the injectors... i have not checked to see if im gettin a spark... it might be the css but the car was running before i did all this.... what else could it be ? theres no oil leaks and timing belt is still on and belt also

Crank, no start or doesn't even crank?

What is this?

Check the crankshaft position sensor and spark plug wiring order. Also make sure the connectors for the IAC and MAF are not loose or unplugged.

If the CSS is not working you will get no spark.
Check if you have spark at all. If you have fuel and spark it should run.
How is the timing belt?

It is beyond me why you replaced all of that.

If CSS means clutch start switch, this would prohibit cranking.

If the engine cranks but does not start, treat it as flooded first. Then check fuel pressure, spark, and firing order.

When you said CSS, I thought you were refering to the Crank Sensor. This rings true for this part if not working - no spark.
The clutch inhibitor switch will cause this as well. If this wasn't working or the clutch is not engaged, it shouldn't even turn over.
Ckeck the leads to the crank sensor and make sure they are not burnt.

well all those parts ive been buying and waitin for a day off to install.... i got the crankshaft sensor today and the crankcase sensor? im going to put those in asap also i noticed that the ignition coil connector is breaking apart from the inside connections ... tomorow im going to go to the junkyard to find a good splice .... i did a visual of the timing belt i did not see any damage to the sides of it...also im not getting any cel codes at start or after trying to start... the gas tank is half full.... i checked half of all fuses in the car none are burned.... i was getting a cylinder 2 missfire before i changed the spark plugs so i was thinking maybe it could be the injectors or maybe i just flooded the car ill try again tomorow ... i appreciate everyones help god bless ... after typing all day and dispatching all day i get tired of looking at a computer...

i checked the order of the spark plugs and i connected a new ignition coil splice which actually connects fully now car cranks but does not start.... it has a brand new battery .... tomorow im going to replace the crankshaft and crank what ever sensors..... how can a barely running car go to not running at all when new parts are replaced ... the fuel pump activates with the turn of the key i can hear it do that whirr noise .... any ideas or hints Camshaft Position Sensor my car does not have that part there could it be missing or wrong year?

the harness was bad and also i had the spark plugs wired wrong... my gf who can barely carry a ipod asked why a wire looked out of place... lol ... also the car would still not start so I DID BIG JIMS IDEA pour some oil in the cylinder and the car would still not start then one last time i had the pedal all they way down hit the switch and the car came on with a crapload of white smoke and unburned gass bye bye missfire hello low idles again lol
