OP DyComet CEG\'er D Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 90 Nasti Nati	Lately when the RPM's hit about 3700 the engine loses a lot of power and it makes a weird noise. It's hit and miss but the more I drive the more often it does this. It sounds like a problem with the secondaries but I really don't know for sure. BTW car is a 1999 SE MTX. Big Jim_dup1 Hard-core CEG'er B Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 4,693 Thousand Oaks, California, USA	If your 99 has the returnless fuel system, you may very likely have a plugged fuel pump module inlet screen. Look for the FAQ for changing the fuel pump. Find the very last photo at the bottom of the page and you will see the filter screen. Take it out and throw it away. It is too small and too fine. It isn't needed. There is a conventional sock filter before the pump inside the pump module. Jim Johnson 98 SVT 03 Escape Limited

Line the crankshaft up to TDC on #1 and check to see where your cams are up top. Did the belt jump a cog? 95 Contour GL. Bought new. BAT Sway Bars/Pioneer CD/Koni Rear Struts/Mobil Fluids. Looking for 15" alloy rims-PM me. 180,500km's so far.
