Hey there, I would really appreciate it if someone could maybe scan and send me the pages with the wiring harnesses for a non-SVT 2.5L. I am specifficaly looking for the main harness pinout. I know that Haynes manuals have this for other cars near the back... I just don't have a manual for the car and really don't feel like ordering one up for just this if someone could just help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail is: dmills@comcast.net

You might have problems with the wiring diagrams on the Haynes manual... they just copied it right out of their Mondeo manual.

I tried to trace a short I had, Haynes was no use. None of the wire colors were the same in the engine fuse box. I had to return it and go buy a Chilton manual (which didn't help either... diagrams were too simple).

Anyway, if you look at the diagrams, you'll see things like heated windshields, dim-dip headlights, heated seats, etc.

Haynes manuals for the computer main harness are generally right, the rest is definitely in question since the cars have so many different variations.

That is awesome, thank you so much for that link! The only small problem... the files don't work. That site is down or something, it can't connect, can't find the server, etc. Have any insite on this?

Haha, yes... yours plays a part, but I need the non-SVT book to compare to yours for the harness... that's what I need to do here.

They don't have one for a non-SVT V6... or are they all combined into one manual... I would think they would have their own manual... there is obviously a main EEC harness difference between the two cars, I just need to find out exactly what that is.

No difference between the SVT and non SVT! Different mecachanicals with pistons, heads, PCM etc but no difference in wiring. I love how everyone thinks Ford went way out of their way to redo everything on 11k cars. Not!!!!
