I was wondering where I could find the cam specs ,torq specs ? And what sequence to tighten everything down .
Also what is the average time to get the old motor out ? I know some people on here have done this several times , but iam wondering what is the approx amount of time for someone to just do the actual swap ? We are going to have the 3.0 all put together outside of the car, and I was just wondering what the actual time was to do the switch ?
Can anyone give any input as to short cuts .. I know there are ALOT of bolts to get the motor out.. but any extra info would greatly apprecaited .

Pete, whats with the constant bashing of the newbs? I honestly thought it was a serious question.
In regards to your question, buy yourself a ford service manual. Costs about $100, but has everything you need to know (everything mentioned above) from engine disassembly to reinstall.

I guess because I ALWAYS search new boards for BASIC information. It's not hard to find this information. Todd sells the ford CD's for 6$ and it has all the information...that has been posted for YEARS!

The energy it took you to not answer the question , you could of answered the question . What is the point of having a FORUM if you cannot ask questions ? I guess there should just be a SEARCH button on the main page and thats it .
Where is the quickest place to buy one of those CD's ? I'am probly going to need the cd by this weekend .. Can I find it at the dealer ?
TIA !

I have all the service CDs for any of the Ford brands made from 1992-2003. The internet is your friend if you have a high speed connection. I've had no problems finding anything I was looking for in the CD's. They are layed out a bit wierd but every thing is in there if you look hard enough. Paper manuals are nice to thumb through but $100 a manual verses all of them for free. Hmmm... It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. Also my printer or my laptop work just fine for making portable pages.
