Tchaikovsky is my personal favorite.
1812 Overture being my all time favorite.
The nutcracker is a classic as well.

Are you looking for specifically classical music, or just instrumentals?

I personally concentrate better when the room is silent, but when I feel the need for some ambient music for times of extra stress, I turn to "The Terrys: Through It All." Primarily guitar and strings music, it combines all sorts of genres to make some amazing comfort tones.

Try Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. Trust me, it is VERY enjoyable once you get past the(I think...) redundantly overused first movement of Spring. Winter is my personal favorite section.

There have supposedly been studies that show Mozart helps with memory retention when studying, so what the heck, give some mozart a try.
