I have the 4 cylinder 2.0L Zertec engine in my car with automatic trans. My gauge stays down below cold all the time. It blows heat in the car ok and doesn't seem to be overheating. I replaced the coolant temp sender and thermostat. The gauge still doesn't do anything. From reading another post I am wondering if there is a temperature sending unit some place on the car that I am not seeing. Can someone tell me where it is or what else I can check?

The temp sending unit is under the thermostat housing hose. A ton of Zetecs seem to have this problem.

Got the right temp sending switch today, there are 2 different ones in their books for that car and installed it today and everything is good. Thanks for the help.
