Yep... but looks like it's missing the center cap.

I've never seen them on a pre98, though. Always on mid-level 98+

Ok, found one... Autotrader

Ok, I'm going to play with my "jump to conclusions mat" and say on 95-97 that they are "premium" wheels, just under the SE rims (that this LX is sporting). Both engines use em.

On 98+ seem to be the premium rims for Zetec cars. 98+ Duratecs on Autotrader are either sporting the 8 spokers, or hubcaps.

Still don't know why your SE has them... all the SEs I've come across have the rims the LX in my last post has on.

Looks like someone played switcheroo with the car's original rims.

Those were a factory option (probably standard on some trims) on 97s, but could have been used on some 96s late in the year. Or maybe available as a dealer option?

They are definitely OEM, but not necessarily "original."

BTW, WTH is a 96 SE Sport? I thought they didn't use that terminology until 98? (Or was it 97?) Are you sure it's a 96?

Well, I could be mistaken about the "Sport" designation. Could have been a dealer package or something. And like I said, they could have started using those rims late in 96.

What's the build date? Should be on the same sticker as your recommended tire pressure.
