Hey everyone. Got my tranny problem fixed a whiles back, and now timing belt. Get it put on, idles fine at the mechanics place. We take off, and it's fine for a minute, and then poof, we are losing power, stumbling really bad, etc. We get home and go get plugs, take out 2-3-4, all dry, albeit worn pretty bad. Get to the 1 plug, and it's soaked. Looks like oil, but doesn't feel like it, or smell like for that matter. Smelled like gas. We put the new plug into 1, started up, still had the same stumbling/no power problem. Plug wire die maybe? Or something else altogether? Any help is much appreciated. I'll check back in the morning to see any ideas.

If the firing order is correct then first check your wires and then the coil. After that verify that your mechanic aligned the cams properly.

I know plug order is right, there isn't any way to hook up the wires any other way due to length. I'm going and getting wires today, I'll let you guys know if it does the job. And to DESIGN, if it were the cams, why would it run good for a while and then just turn to [censored]? Just a thought.....

Besides that, only the number 1 plug was soaked. If that wire died, it'd fill with gas, as it's not firing correct? That's why I'm going and buying wires today. If that don't work, then I'll look into the coil. But other than that, I dunno.....
