I tried searching but do not know if my problems are related or not to the throttle hang fix.
i had a sub installed in my car a few days ago. Not sure if any of this is related or not, but ever since then, things have been happening. my CEL came on th enext day, with the usual P0420 code for my apperantly bad catalytic converter (hadent seen that code in about 6 months), and then 2 new codes P0300 and P0306. Apperantly P0300 is random misfire detected and P0306 is misfire detected in Cyl 6. I checked all my plug wires which were all connected tight. I pulled plug 6 and it looked alright.
Is all this just because they had my battery disconencted and the car is relearning the worn engine?
ALso when I am decelrating or if I push in the clutch when I am stopping I get the loud moaning (or moosing) from my intake. i recently installed an SVT air filter and box, but that should not make a difference right? I never had a moosing problem until about a week ago. Today is was the worst it has ever been, any time the clutch was pushed in, the moosing was loud. even idling it would do it. i have no idea whats wrong. i took off my IAC and cleaning it a couple weeks ago, and my PCV is only 5 months old. i just don;t get it.
