Switch & connector near PCV valve 96 contour 2.0 #1487047 01/22/06 07:10 PM

OP ty976 Newbie T Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 4	Does anyone know what the switch and connector is to the right of the PCV valve on a 96 contour 2.0? The switch appears to be on the block with 2 wires (Brn/red and Wht/red) and the plug itself is white. The plug broke apart so I need to identify the switch to get the plug. Any help appreciated

SquareHead CEG\'er S Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 410 Winnipeg, Canada	Crank sensor. I broke mine(plug only) when changing the PCV as well. Lots of fun. 95 Contour GL. Bought new. BAT Sway Bars/Pioneer CD/Koni Rear Struts/Mobil Fluids. Looking for 15" alloy rims-PM me. 180,500km's so far.

I broke mine and thought, "it's only got two wires, how important could it possibly be?" A hint: My car wouldn't start without it. I got the car towed to my favorite mechanic, and they fixed it and packed it full of silicone for like $70 including the tow. J.T. 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 294ci V8. Rager CEG\'er R Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 82 NE Oh	Anyone ever pull the PCV/ oil trap and clean it? Mine was full of crud from the frequent (NOT) oil changes of the previous owner. Ford gets a 'bean' (US$100) for that sucker. If you think its crapped up, don't pull it unless you plan to drop the pan!
