I'm pretty sure Vernors uses real ginger and vanilla extract. And is also aged for four years in oak barrels.

If you haven't tried it, it is very different from other gingerales. It is strong. And by that I mean, you will probably cough or sneeze before the drink even hits your lips!!

I just checked the ingredients lists for Canada Dry and Schweppes. Neither specify "ginger" in any way, shape, or form. Both state "natural flavors" and neither state "artificial flavors".

I would be led to believe that neither have fake ginger flavor by this.
