I just thought about something... maybe award it at random.
Like instead of people submitting cars on their own, maybe have either the peers recommend a great photo (like via PM to you or something) or you secretly view the pics posted and just suprise someone with the award if you feel they were the best.

All this takes time and then some money to send awards.
we have tried this countless amount of times and it goes for 3 months and dies.
people send in pics from their driveway expecting it to work with some nice pics then get all bent outta shape when not winning.
I know Mike and pete have tried this before i say let it go already.

why bother with a reward? i know i'd be content just having my car in a stickey as car of the month. at least you could start it that way so that no money would be needed

Yeah, that's a good enough award for me!
Yeah, no need to spend $$$. I think most car people get more enjoyment of getting reconized for a job well done over getting an award through the mail. I also like the nomination idea.

On a side note, This could be a good way to do the 2007 Calender, where each month you nominate a car for that month.

I'm trying to increase traffic, posts in all forums - not alienate ones and push certain ones. If I decide to run it, it would stay here.

For the calendar, best pics are best pics as chosen by CEG panelists - regardless of when the pic was taken.
