MIL eliminator's, do I need them?

I only have the optimized y-pipe and main Cat modded. Are the MIL eliminator's only needed if the pre-cats are gutted?

1998 Contour SE V6 MTX-75 Mostly Stock 1986 Ranger V6 4X4, the only mod: weight reduction by rust.

the downstream sensors ONLY measure the pre-cats. The mods you have done are downstream of the sensors.. hence.. no change in operation or expected values to those sensors.
