Wash
Clay Bar
Paint Cleaner
Polish
Wax

Clay bar will remove wax and everything else on the car, do that first and follow up on the rest as stated.

Wash
Clay Bar
Wash (I like to give a quick wash after clay)
Paint Cleaner
Polish
Wax

- Before you apply the Carnauba, be sure you've used adequate number of coats of Polish to your satisfaction.

- Read the bottles to see what Meguiar's recommends for curing time between coats of Polish and Polish to Carnauba.
(I can't recall since I ditched that stuff years ago.)

So still use the paint cleaner huh ? I thought claybar did that function. That's gonna be a long day.

Thanks guys.

Paint cleaner will "prepare" the surface for the wax adhesion. Using the clay gets the "nasties" off the paint (tar, industrial run off, sap, inperfections in the paint, etc). SHouldn't take too long.

The way I did mine:

Wash
Claybar
3M Sratch Remover
Meguires Polish
Meguires Wax

Do the bottom 3 steps on your headlights too. Makes them look awesome. That took me about 12 hrs with only a few little breaks. The next time I do it, I think I'll substitute the Meguires Wax with NXT.
